How Silk Weaves are Made

	First, a design is chosen and is "programmed" into punch cards that will be used by the weaving machines.
	Then the punch cards are placed on the machine in the order needed for the design.
	Depending on the design, the craftsman changes the thread colors for the weave.
	Then he pushes a pedal underneath and the machine weaves through the threads to match the pattern.  It takes anywhere between 3-6 months to complete a 6 meter long silk cloth that can be used as a Sari.
